The Charlotte Chorale is a non profit vocal ensemble of approximately 60 all volunteer members of men and women . Founded in 1989 The Charlotte Chorale celebrates its 33rd year in 2022 performing in Charlotte County. Performances are held at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center in Punta Gorda. The Chorale has been under the direction of Dr. William Dederer for the past ten years. Three concerts are performed each concert season.
It has been said that music is the universal language of mankind. It brings people together from diverse cultures and backgrounds in celebration not of their differences, but in recognition and celebration of their oneness. It is the mission of The Charlotte Chorale to do this while enhancing, educating and enriching the lives of all by preparing and presenting professional-level choral music of all genres.
